Those of us facing hassling debt collectors may look forward to new rules governing these agencies. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is beginning to write the first regulations under federal law governing the industry and probing for violations. The 2010 Dodd-Frank Act created the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
