Northern California bankruptcy lawyer Cathy Moran is a 30+ year veteran of bankruptcy practice in the Silicon Valley. She is known for her energetic and imaginative representation of clients and for her command of bankruptcy law.

A graduate of Stanford University and University of California Hastings College of Law, Cathy has headed her own law firm since she passed the bar in 1978.

Over the course of her career, she has represented trustees, creditors and creditors committees and well as debtors in Chapters 7, 11, and 13.

Cathy is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney (NACBA) where she was a recent member of the month, and NACBA’s state chair for Northern California. She was first named a Bankruptcy Super Lawyer in 2007, and in each year since.

If she had any spare time, she’d spend it in her vegetable garden and in the kitchen cooking new and adventurous dishes for Steve, her husband of many decades. Homelife is enlivened by an American Staffordshire terrier Quiz and a rescue Manx cat Panda.
