Christopher Hewitt is a licensed attorney by the Supreme court of California and is admitted in all the Federal Districts. California has four separate districts that require licensing before one can practice in that district. He has been actively practicing bankruptcy and debt negotiations since 2005 and is well versed with the BAPCPA changes to the bankruptcy code starting in 2005. Mr. Hewitt is a graduate cum laude of University of Oregon in Eugene, OR where he received a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and focused his studies on Latin American Economic Development. He learned Spanish while living and working in South and Central America for over one year during his studies. He received a J.D. from Golden Gate University in San Francisco where he graduated with high rankings and passed the California Bar on the first try after having graduated a semester early. He is a member of NACBA (National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys) and attends many of their continuing legal education seminars to stay current with the bankruptcy laws.
